For Clients on a Direct Billing Plan;
We will do our best to confirm your coverage details. We will send you an email to summarize your coverage details at the beginning of your Treatment Plan.
For Clients on an Individual Reimbursement Plan;
Unfortunately we are unable to access your coverage details. We recommend that you confirm the following coverage details directly with your insurance provider;
- Clinical Service(s) to be covered (Physiotherapy, Athletic Therapy, Massage Therapy).
- Maximum limit payable for clinical service.
- Coverage period (Typically a calendar year, confirm the start date).
- Percentage of treatment expenses covered.
- Maximum reimbursements per treatment.
- Deductibles.
- Physician Referral required.
This information should be easily accessible when you log into your profile with your insurance provider or in your benefits booklet. We understand that things can get confusing…. Secondary Insurance
Clients who have extended health benefits coverage under two different insurance providers (coverage under your plan and a spouse’s plan) will have secondary insurance.
We can direct bill Blue Cross and Greenshield as a secondary insurer only if the primary insurer is on a Direct Billing Plan, otherwise they will be set-up on an Individual Reimbursement Plan. All other secondary insurers will be set-up on Individual Reimbursement Plans.
